On 30 August 2011, South African Tourism launched in Brazil, the Portuguese site about the destination. For now, the site is only available in Brazilian Portuguese, but it's still a great help to those who do not understand English. According to Tati Isler, representative of South African Tourism in Brazil, the site is all based on experiences and is "barbaric", with many tips.

WTATOURISM OSCARS: 52 NOMINATIONS FOR SA
South Africa received 52 nominations for the World Travel Awards 2011. In the hospitality sector, the highlight goes to the Mount Nelson Hotel and the Saxon Boutique Hotel & Spa, both candidates for World's Leading Hotel. It is, however, in the safaris sector that South Africa stands out the most, with 7 out of 10 private game reserves being nominated for World's Leading Safari and Game Reserve.

addo EXPERIENCE #2: ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK
The Addo Elephant National Park is the most famous park in the Eastern Cape. It started out in 1931 with just 11 elephants. Today it is sanctuary to over 450 elephants - making it home to one of the densest African elephant populations on earth. You'll also find Cape buffalo, black rhino, a variety of antelope species and the unique flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.
