South Africa’s role serving in the United Nations Security Council for the past six months (Jan-June 2019) is being reviewed favourably.  The attached review is providing an independent assessment of the progress made, challenges faced and possible ways to improve South Africa’s engagements for the coming 18 months on the Council.
